These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TimeAware mobile application (the “App”) and website at timeaware.space (the “Site”), operated by TimeAware (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App or Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App or Site.
2. Description of Service
TimeAware is a time-awareness application designed to help users with ADHD and related conditions stay grounded through gentle hourly audio cues, customizable voice packs, smart notifications, and related features. The App is intended as a supportive tool and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
3. No Account Required
The App does not require you to create an account. Your settings are stored on your device. Purchases are tied to the Apple ID or Google account you use with the App Store or Google Play, and can be restored on another device signed in to the same account.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Free version: The App is free to download and includes a limited selection of voices, chimes and themes as described on the Site.
TimeAware Pro: Pro is offered as auto-renewing weekly, monthly or annual subscriptions, and from time to time as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices vary by country and are always displayed in the App before you confirm a purchase. Where a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you subscribe, and you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it does.
Subscriptions are billed through the store you downloaded the App from: Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings or in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
Refunds are handled according to the refund policies of Apple or Google, depending on where you purchased. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside of their systems.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any of its content (including voice packs)
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App or Site
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the App and Site, including but not limited to voice packs, audio files, graphics, text, logos, and software, is owned by TimeAware or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Voice Packs and Content
Voice packs purchased or accessed through the App are licensed, not sold. Your license to use voice packs is contingent on maintaining an active Pro subscription or lifetime purchase (for Pro voice packs). Free voice packs are available to everyone who installs the App. Voice pack audio may not be extracted, recorded, redistributed, or used outside of the App.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimeAware shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TimeAware, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Site and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TimeAware operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
