Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information TimeAware (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles when you use the TimeAware app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android (the “App”) and our website at timeaware.space (the “Site”). The short version: the App has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and your settings stay on your device.

1. The App

No account, no analytics, no ads. You never sign up or give us your name or email to use the App. The App contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect information about how you use it.

Your settings stay on your device. Your chosen sounds, theme, clock style, chime schedule, quiet hours and similar preferences are stored locally on your phone (and synced to your paired Apple Watch over a direct device connection). They are not sent to us.

Calendar (optional). If you turn on meeting auto-pause, the App reads your device calendar on your device to find when you are busy. Calendar data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else.

Notifications.Chimes are scheduled as local notifications by your phone’s operating system. We do not use push notification servers to deliver them.

Purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To check whether you have TimeAware Pro, the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription service, which receives your purchase receipt and a random, anonymous app user ID generated on your device. It does not receive your name, email or contacts. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Deleting your data. Tap Delete All Dataon the Privacy screen in the App’s settings, or uninstall the App. Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat are governed by their own policies.

2. The Website

Analytics. The Site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and which links are clicked, such as the App Store and Google Play buttons. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also records aggregate, cookie-free visit statistics and standard server logs for security and performance.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. The Site works fully without them.

3. How We Use Information

We use website analytics only to improve the Site and its articles. We use purchase status only to unlock the Pro features you paid for. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. The only third parties involved are the ones named above (Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Cloudflare), each acting under its own privacy policy, and authorities where we are legally required to respond.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data, or to object to its processing. Because the App keeps your data on your device, you are already in control of it. For anything else, contact us at [email protected].

6. Children’s Privacy

The App and Site are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site links to other websites, including research sources and the app stores. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we change how the App or Site handles information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above before the change takes effect.
