About TimeAware

TimeAware is a small, independent app for one stubborn problem: not feeling time pass. For many adults with ADHD, an hour and ten minutes feel the same until the evening arrives and the day is gone. TimeAware makes time something you can hear and feel again, with a gentle chime, a calm voice or a quiet tap every hour.

What we make

The TimeAware app runs on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android. It plays a soft chime or speaks the time at an interval you choose, stays quiet during the hours you set, pauses for meetings if you connect your calendar, and can work in complete silence with haptics. It is free to download, with an optional Pro upgrade.

What we don’t do

  • No accounts. You never give us your name or email.
  • No ads, and no analytics or tracking inside the app.
  • No streak-shaming or guilt. Missing an hour should never feel like failing.

How our articles are written

The TimeAware blog explains ADHD and time in plain, kind language for adults who are tired of being told to just try harder. Every article follows the same standards:

  • Claims about ADHD are grounded in published research and the work of named clinicians and researchers, and we link to sources wherever we can.
  • We never invent studies, statistics or quotes. Where the evidence is thin or mixed, we say so.
  • When we revise an article, its “updated” date changes so you can see how current it is.
  • Articles are educational, not medical advice. They are no substitute for a diagnosis or treatment plan from a qualified professional.
